Alright, we’ll break the ice.
In 2012, wife and husband team Jenn Richey Nicholas and Andrew Nicholas turned their love of making things with people into a business. They bring a wealth of industry experience. Jenn worked on the 2012 NYC Olympic bid and refined her creative direction know-how at the world’s largest international design firm. Andrew draws from his experience working with NYC-based retail juggernauts and internationally noteworthy cultural institutions focused on film, music, contemporary dance, and theater. They knew from the beginning that success meant more than growing a profitable design studio. They wanted to express their commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility through their business practices, studio culture, and community involvement.
Over the years, their studio continues to grow and attract a talented crew of creatives who want to both help businesses, organizations, and individuals make genuine connections with their audience and actively take part in a global movement of people using business as a force for good.

We’re a Proud Certified B-Corp
B-Corp Certification is a rigorous process that assesses a business’s positive impact on the community and the environment. B-Corps form a global community committed to doing well by doing good. That means we measure success on a triple bottom line of people, planet, and profit. In 2017, 2018, and 2019, B Lab, the nonprofit who oversees certification, honored us as a “Best for the World” Changemaker. We are also a proud member of the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia (SBN). Our Co-Founder and Creative Director Jenn Richey Nicholas serves on SBN’s Board of Directors.
We invite our team, clients, and community to participate in this greater mission, and we love collaborating with other like-minded businesses and organizations who share our commitment to sustainability and social justice.
Recognizing the role we play as a business and as people in building a brighter future for our neighborhood, city, and beyond is the heartbeat of our studio. It energizes our work helping you discover the heart of your story.
